Located at the heart of campus, the Taylor Family Digital Library has become one of the university’s most treasured buildings. A library, art gallery, archives, rare collections and student success centre, it offers the latest digital tools for learning and research, all using the most advanced technology available. As one of the most digitally progressive academic libraries in North America, it supports all the ways that knowledge creation happens today. Named for Don and Ruth Taylor—longtime friends and supporters of the University of Calgary—who donated $25 million, the library was completed last fall with additional funding from all levels of government.
